One of my immediate goals is to learn to swim.
It is clearly something that one should learn early in life (unlike the apparent urban myth around languages).
So, let me tell you what is the easy bit when you start late!
Floating – The science is clear, Archimedes nailed it.
Feet movement – Easy enough, if you keep at it.
Regulated breathing, where the exhale works via the nose under water and the inhale with the mouth. That is where i seem to get stuck!
Having been saved a couple of times from sinking, has not really got the lack of panic out of me.
However, the trainer (Use FITSO SEALS! They are good.) is epic and I do see him making me swim soon enough!
